SIM lock - A SIM lock is a feature implemented by mobile phone manufacturers and providers to allow only the use of SIM cards in the phone that meet specific criteria. Currently, phones can be locked to only accept SIM cards from one or more of the following:
Tart card - So-called tart cards are cards found in phone booths in London, Hove and Brighton that advertise the services of call girls. Placing them in phone booths is now illegal, although this has only reduced their number, rather than eliminating them.
Prepaid - Prepaid refers to services paid for in advance. Some examples include gift cards, preloaded credit cards, tolls, and cell phone usage credit, among other items.
Computer speaker - Computer speakers are external speakers and are usually equipped with a male-end phone plug for computer sound cards; however, there are some that have female RCA (phono) plug ports, and some people link computer sound cards to nearby stereo systems. Computer speakers are usually a simplified stereo system without a radio or other media sources built in.
